Rare 1972 Original Led Zeppelin Boxing Style Poster Buffalo NY. Measures 14” x 22”. Slight corner lift and overall some type of staining in background. Please see all photos for condition. This amazing piece was just discovered in a stack of 1970’s rock posters I just purchased in Western NY. The lady I purchased them from had a brother that worked at a record shop in Buffalo NY in the 70’s. He passed in the early 1980’s in an accident and his parents left all his personal effects in a basement office. The stack of posters had a 1/4” layer of dust over them. This amazing survivor has been laying untouched in the basement for almost 50 years. It gave me chills when I found it. Led Zeppelin only played 2 shows in Buffalo NY and I am convinced this is probably the only surviving “boxing style” poster that exists today. These were cheaply made and thrown away. This was obviously never hung or maybe was just leaned up in the record shop window. Or maybe he was just a fan and kept one. Whatever the reason, it is amazing. Along with all the posters I have a large stack of original 1970’s 35mm negatives of several different major bands of the era that played in Buffalo.
